Okay so many of my readers expect football, football and more football, well folks as the NFL is winding down the NHL is gearing up and we have the NBA in full swing. So, it is time for a subject change. Yes, don’t worry I will still be tackling all the important issues, and checking all the ignorance of the sports fan today (pun intended).
The NHL what is it that makes these clowns in the head offices lock-out such an amazing sport about every 7 years. Well for starters they are clowns and yes I do personally know Ted Leonsis, I played hockey with his son and have watched many a game from his box, and he too is a clown (sorry Ted). Here’s my first thought on the issue of lock-outs the owners want more money and want to pay the players less. That’s the case with every lock-out as we all know. However, the underlying idea here is an issues that most hockey fans know without knowing. Hockey fan’s are so extremely dedicated to their sport that missing a season will never end the sport. The owners are using this to their advantage, because they can hold out for as long as need be knowing the fans will return.
The fans have the power in these situations, it’s difficult to say but the greatest threat to these people is fans not returning to the games. No ticket sales equals norevenue which means the owners are losing out. So folks what we really need to remember is we have the power. Question is what are we going to do with it? Let’s just hope hockey fan’s that we no longer have to deal with any of this stuff and can just watch an amazing game.
I also have to add, I guess you should bet on my football picks. Because I rocked them the other week.
And Finally folks next weeks Blog will be about all time greatest rivalries, so if you have one you feel I can’t leave out. Please comment on this blog and I will be sure to add it, or publicly laugh at you for your stupidity, just kidding, maybe. Seriously, please send in some of your personal favorite rivalries.

I’m Randy . . . And you already know, but “That’s How It Is”.
